The picture was made to show the work that goes into the performance of any musician, whether amateur or professional. The hours of practice, note taking and study that go into the preparation of a piece of music of ten go un-noticed. The title 'Notes' is drawn from the notes on the fret board, the notes on the manuscript and the pencil for making more notes. It's a bit of a play on words but we are all allowed to make a pun now and then!
